DRUM CIRCLES– perfect for community events, festivals, corporate and team building days, school holiday programs, and any event where you want people to come together and have fun.
WORKSHOPS – we offer drum and dance workshops that are tailored for different groups, including; playgroups, early learning centres, schools (kindergarten to year 12), school holiday programs, universities, aged care centres, all abilities, mental health and wellbeing sector, prisons and juvenile justice programs. All workshops have an educational component to them. We also offer one off workshops and ongoing sessions that finish with a group performance where participants can showcase what they have learnt over a period of time (this is a very popular choice for schools)
PERFORMANCES – the possibilities here are endless! We can come as a trio right up to a large group of energetic and vivacious drummers and dancers ready to blow the minds of your audience! Performances can range in duration and are great for all functions; engagements, weddings, hens nights, product launches, festivals, fundraisers, schools, and other community events, whenever and wherever you want people to be entertained.
CORPORATE & TEAM BUILDING – individually designed sessions for your business / organisation to come together and ensures maximum benefit for your groups needs. We cater to small and large businesses and everything in between.
CLASSES & TUITION – You can find out more about our classes via our FACEBOOK PAGE. Our drum classes teach West African rhythms on the djembe, kpanlogo drum (native drum from Ghana) and dun dun drums. We also offer private tuition in traditional African drumming (djembe, kpanlogo, dun dun, talking drum) traditional West African dancing, Azonto and hip life, singing, xylophone, flute, asalato, and bell. We can also choreograph dances for special events such as weddings.
DRUM SALES & REPAIRS – we sell a variety of African instruments. Odai also makes drums and can repair any damage you may to have an existing drum such as new rope, skin or tightening and tuning. We can also make vegan drums to order.
